Miss L suffered a serious fire at her take-away restaurant. Her Insurers repudiated her claim, alleging non disclosure and misrepresentation. They also advised her that she was in breach of a warranty on her policy.
Miss L instructed Insco and following a comprehensive review by Insco of Miss L's policy schedule, policy wording and her completed proposal form, we could find no grounds for her Insurers denying liability for her claim.
We approached Miss L's Insurers and within 4 days of our instruction they decided to accept liability for the claim.
The final agreed claim for contents, stock and business interruption was over £54,000. Without Insco's involvement, it is likely that Miss L could have faced bankruptcy.
