Mrs K submitted a claim for storm damage to her conservatory, following very strong winds which lifted some of the roof panels and damaged two doors.

Her Insurers advised her that they would send out their preferred contractors to erect a replacement conservatory.

After a week delay the Insurer's contractors attended and advised Mrs K that she was "not covered" and that the damage to her conservatory was "wear and tear".

Mrs K contacted Insco for advice. We requested her Insurers appoint a claims adviser to meet with us and to inspect the damage to conservatory with us. It was subsequently agreed with Insco by the claims adviser that the damage to the conservatory was in fact covered and the claim was accepted.
